Geolink developed a complete web and editorial system for SRNA – the News Agency of Republika Srpska, designed for the daily workflow of a professional news agency.
The project included not only the public portal but also a central administration system for entering, editing, organizing and publishing large volumes of news and media content.
The platform was developed as a custom PHP/MySQL solution tailored to the specific requirements of the newsroom and the continuous publication of information throughout the day.
Challenge
The main challenge was to build a system capable of supporting intensive newsroom operations, a high volume of daily content and complex content organization.
A news agency requires much more than a standard CMS. The platform needed to support multiple sections, news priorities, multimedia content, service information and access for different types of newsroom users.
At the same time, the system had to remain fast, stable and easy to use so journalists and editors could publish information without delays.

The administration system enabled news entry and editing, content organization by section, image and multimedia management, and control over how content appeared on the public portal.
